    Note

    Clear ruby red with garnet rims. On the nose intense red fruit aromas such as cherry. Modern and balanced with an intense palate, sweet tannins and a long lasting finish.

    CHIANTI CLASSICO GRAN SELEZIONE

    Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is the highest expression of Chianti Classico. Gran Selezione grants to the consumer that the wine has been entirely produced inside the winery declared on the label and that it has released at least 30 months after harvesting.

    Ageing: at least 12 months in 13-30 hl Slavonian oak conical trunk vat

    Note

    An intense ruby red, flower aromas of violets and rose petals and an elegant palate, where freshness and smoothness create a perfect balance. The tannins are ripe and silky and the wine has a long and fulfilling aftertaste.

    Variety: 80% Sangiovese and 20% Malvasia Nera

    Ageing: About 18 months in French oak barrique

    Total Production: 25.000 bottles size 0,75 litres

    Note

    Intense dark ruby colour with purple rim. On the nose aromas of raspberry, cherry, tobacco and dark chocolate. Mineral palate with smooth and elegant tannins.

    Note

    Intense straw yellow colour with honey, lavender, almond and broom flowers on the nose. On the palate this Chardonnay is fresh and fruity, mineral and creamy.

    Note

    Lively and bright straw yellow colour with a gold rim. Wide array of typical aromas: almond, sage, rosemary. Fresh and intense on the palate, with almond and pineapple aromas and a mineral grip.

    Food Pairing

    Fish recipes with salmon, trout, shellfish; fried recipes; perfect when paired with intense blue cheeses.

    ROSATO

    Appellation: Rosato Toscana IGT
    Variety: 100% Sangiovese
    Wine Making: Temperature controlled inox vat

    Ageing: 18 months in barrique
    Total Production: 5.000 bottles size 0,75 litres
    Alcohol: 13,5%
    Vintage: 2021

    Note

    Bright pale pink with a golden rim. Very intense on the nose: fresh fruit aromas, strawberry and pear, interwoven with floral aromas, rose petals in particular.

    Food Pairing

    Semi-soft cheese, fish recipes, raw fish, sushi and oysters. But try it also with rabbit or pizza or appetizers. Serve cold.

  • MALVASIA NERA (x6)

    It is a wine produced 100% with MALVASIA NERA DEL CHIANTI grapes. Wine vinified in steel and aged in truncated conical Slavonian oak barrels (30hl capacity). Fresh and easy to drink wine that allows you to taste the Chianti area in one of its freshest and most authentic expressions.

    Combinations

    To be combined with a nice salami or ham sandwich but also interesting to try with some fish dishes.

    Some of our products are nowadays considered icons amongst wine lovers, such as Solare Magnum bottle with a special label produced only on request and customized according to the client’s desire.

    A special printing press, used once to stamp on paper label, is used nowadays to stamp the vintage of our wine. The back label can be engraved with a name, a date, an inscription so to make the bottle unique. To make it even more precious, the bottle is shielded by a box made out of walnut root by a Florentine artisan. In this way each box is different from all others and can be eventually converted into a cigar humidor.

CAPANNELLE

The story of the winery Capannelle started in 1974 when the businessman Raffaele Rossetti moved to an ‘600 century old villa surrounded by 10,5 ha of land in Gaiole in Chianti, historical subzone where the Chianti Classico was born.
